Water and Ignite - Taking care of Schools
The district theme for this particular year is Belong believe and become! As per that the best district priority project proposed by the District Rotaract Representative Rtr. PP. Ajay Chandran is "Save Water".
As Coimbatore is known as the one finest place in whole Tamil nadu which has the sweetest water ever! But a very unfortunate thing which has happened now to Coimbatore because of the growing population and exploit of industries the water level in the city is totally down in all the famous reservoirs, river branches and dams.
So, We the Rotaract club of Coimbatore Royals thought something different, people are there to spread awareness and to teach about save water, why not taking up an extra mile is what was running in the minds of us.
And here we're to set a milestone!
We, Royalites are going to adopt a pond and we're going to clean the whole pond and help in preserving that improving the water level by out taking the waste water plants and non decomposing particles from the pond. Which will eventually provide water to the nearby village.
Let a small sowing of seed poke the bigger shots to take step in implementing this procedure in and around of Coimbatore with help of few rotaract clubs in coimbatore.
Not only this particular year this project will be an ongoing one, till Royals exists in Rotary International we commit to fulfill this promise.
What is Royals Next Project?
Mother and child care
From the name itself it's denoting it is going to be about mother and child, but in what ways?
This is going to be an important issue in the upcoming generation of women.
Nowadays! Women are consuming more of junk foods. The most attracted age category of women are from 11 to 18 and the most affected age category is from 18 to 26 for consuming junk in all these years, by eating unhealthy and not sleeping properly at night! Because of this, their pregnancy is getting affected! Many of the women are not becoming pregnant and are not begetting child.
So, we the Rotaract club of Coimbatore Royals took this as an initiative in giving awareness about this to all our sisters from the guidance and counselling of doctors.
